MicroShades has:
- More fade resistance compared to dyes
- More consistent coloring and better penetration than staining
- Natural wood characteristics still visible (not painted or stained over)
- The only fencing to offer a no-fade warranty
Like our other pressure-treated lumber products, ProWood with MicroShades has been treated with a waterborne wood preservative system containing copper and biocides to protect against termite attack and fungal decay. But with ProWood Micro with MicroShades, the copper is micronized, making it less corrosive. Because of this, expensive nails and stainless steel fasteners aren’t required. Like all of our treated lumber, they can withstand harsh weather conditions and are effective for decades.
