Extensive testing has shown that treatment with borate does not cause ProWood^® Borate to be corrosive to fasteners, so the same fasteners may be used with ProWood Borate borate-treated wood as with untreated wood. Carbon steel, galvanized steel, copper and silicon bronze fasteners may all be used with ProWood Borate products.

In many applications, building codes may require specific types of fasteners. Consult your local building codes.
