There is no better method of achieving proper concrete hydration, reducing discoloration and producing highly wear resistant surfaces than wet curing. Our wet curing blankets outperform all other single-use curing blankets by laying flatter on the surface and offering superior water retention, which allows the concrete to achieve optimal hydration for the entire curing period.
The ultimate goal of any wet curing blanket is to maintain a 100% relative humidity condition on the slab surface for the entire curing period. Synthetic fabrics must have water reintroduced to the surface each day or have bleeder hoses as part of the curing process, which adds time and labor. The super absorbent qualities of the our family of wet curing blanketsare capable of absorbing, holding and wicking water to the slab surface as needed for the entire curing period. The wicking action also means the blanket will stay on the slab without the use of tie-downs or weights.

EZcover helps protect against surface contamination, abrasions and other harmful occurrences that may happen on the job site. With EZcover, installation couldn’t be easier. The protective blanket is simply placed (or rolled out) over the desired area and can be moved from one area to another with ease. The EZcover protective blanket features a soft bottom layer to help prevent surface scratches, while allowing new slabs to continue to breathe and harden. The harder top layer of EZcover helps shield against contaminants and potential impact hazards. |
Application: Bridges and HighwaysIdeal for use on bridges and highways, this wet curing blanket features a perforated vapor barrier which allows hydration through the surface of the blanket for up to 14 days. Capable of holding up to 46-gallons per 800-foot roll, it is also favored for vertical applications such as those found in water treatment facilities. |
