Load Transfer Plate Dowel with Edge Banding
The patent pending EZdowel® load transfer plate dowel is part of the EZ Form® system designed for construction and contraction joints. EZdowel provides superior load transfer while saving time and labor during the installation process. Each plate dowel is coated to create a bond break with the slab, and compressible edge banding on both sides to allow the slab to move laterally.

The unique shape of EZdowel provides superior plate dowel strength by providing 20% more steel closer to highest stress areas when compared to other plate dowels, thus allowing EZ Dowel plates to be spaced farther apart than other conventional dowels, saving time and money for your project.
Perfect Alignment
The dowel simply slides into the pre-cut dowel slot in the EZ Form board. Pre-cut dowel slots assure proper vertical and horizontal alignment of each dowel without the need or labor expense of measuring and nailing traditional dowel holders. Contractors will also find they eliminate the need to repair broken or paste filled dowel holders or replace crushed ones.
EZdowel, part of the EZ Form system, is available in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" plate thicknesses providing design flexibility. EZdowel meets or exceeds all of the requirements as stated in ACI 360, Design of Slabs on Ground.
