Concrete Forming Panels

Concrete Forming Panels

Universal Forest Products offers a variety of concrete-forming panels in standard and custome sizes for all of your construction needs.

Our MDO panels are designed for multi-pour (10-15 pours per panel), repetitive applications. Their matte-finish concrete surface readily accepts paint. These certified panels are available in one- and two-sided compositions and can be cut-to-size at your specifications.

Universal provides HDO panels that have a paintable, architectural finish. They are available in an array of overlay configurations, with 100/30 and 100/100 being the most common. These multi-pour (20-40 pours per panel) concrete forming panels are certified and can be cut to size.

We also offer BBOES SYP/BP panels, a raw, wood-surface panel used in 75-80% of all concrete work. These panels are best used when a finish is not critical, as they yield a coarse, wood-grain finish. For practical performance, these concrete-forming panels are the economical choice.

PSF (Phenolic Surface Film) concrete forming panels yield a mirror finish, with a surface that cannot be painted. These two-sided panels are most commonly used for concrete forms, treadmills and some interior applications. They are useful for tilt-up construction, too. The overlays are unbleached Kraft papers with a typical weight of 26 lbs and a resin content of approximately 64-66%.

Sharcote forming panels are FSC-certified for your LEED® projects. These concrete forming panels are durable, waterproof-coated and pretreated with a release agent. Capable of up to three pours per panel, they provide a paintable matte finish with virtually no grain or patch transfer to the concrete surface. Sharcote form panels leave minimal concrete dust thanks to ultra-low sugaring and can be painted without prep work.
