All wood packaging materials that have undergone heat treatment by Universal Forest Products carry a globally recognized stamp indicating that the materials meet all of the requirements of ISPM 15. This stamp is accepted at all international points of entry or exit and helps to ensure that your shipments will not face delays, refusal or disposal.
Audited, Approved and Certified Heat Treatment Process
Twelve times each year, Universal’s heat treatment facilities are monitored and audited by Timber Products Inspection Inc. (under the auspices of the American Lumber Standards Committee). This is your assurance that all aspects of Universal’s heat treatment processing, materials handling, recordkeeping and storage are fully compliant with the requirements of the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) and all ISPM 15 standards.
