Universal Forest Products engineers Open Joist™ floor systems using special Designor software. This software engineers floor systems using standard Open Joist floor trusses installed to conform to job-specific requirements for loading and deflection limitations. Designor produces a comprehensive job layout as well as job-specific truss drawings. Designor is available to trained floor system designers who are specifying Open Joist floor trusses. Mitek Industries developed and maintains a form of engineering software called Analysor. An abbreviated version of the Analysor software is available for those who wish to make a quick assessment of which Open Joist product will work for a specific floor framing application.
