Using ProWood

The requirements for using ProWood® are similar to those for other pressure-treated wood products. No special fasteners, handling, or maintenance is necessary. ProWood is safe for all standard above-ground and ground-contact uses.

Fasteners

ProWood Micro products interact with fasteners much like any CCA pressure-treated wood product. Because ProWood is corrosion-resistant, it does not require stainless steel fasteners.

Handling and Disposal

ProWood components should be handled and disposed of in a manner similar to other preserved wood products. ProWood can, however, be placed in direct contact with aluminum building products, thanks to its superior resistance to corrosion.

Care and Maintenance

Low-maintenance ProWood products require just a few simple steps to preserve their attractive appearance season after season.

Health and Safety

ProWood fencing, decking, railing, and lattice products are safe and healthy for humans, animals, and the environment. The safety of pressure-treated wood has been well-documented over a number of years.
