Wood Landscape Ties and Timbers

Product Uses

Universal’s wood landscape ties and timbers add a natural yet practical accent to any yard or garden. Made of new wood, they make excellent and safe stair steps, retainer walls, borders, planters, and curbs.

Common uses for Wood Landscape Ties and Timbers:
  • Stair Steps and Retaining Walls
  • Flower-bed borders
  • Walkway, patio, and driveway curbs
  • Garden beds
  • Planters (standard and customer-built)
  • Pond enclosures
  • Sandboxes
  • Decorative walls

Universal’s landscape ties and timbers can be painted or stained. While easy to handle, they are made of heartwood—the dense, strong center of a tree.

The dimensions for landscape ties are 3" x 5" x 8". Landscape timbers are available in a full range of sizes—from 4" x 4" to 12" x 12". Regardless of dimension, most of Universal’s wood landscape ties and timbers are pressure-treated to withstand termites, fungi, and rot.
